Public Health Warning

Rothwell Parents – the Influenza A season has begun in the wider community. We have had several confirmed cases of Influenza A in the Middle School, and these students have had contact with students in the Senior School.

Please click the link below for more information.

If your child displays any of the symptoms, however mild, please seek medical review and refrain from sending them to school. Following this procedure will ensure the health and wellbeing of students and staff in our school community. Sick Bay staff are more than happy to assist with answering any of your questions. Thank you for your understanding. Mrs Nicole Gregory and Mrs Tanya Crooks.

Celebrating 175 Years of Lutheran Education in Australia

To celebrate 175 Years of Lutheran Education in Australia, we have worked together with St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School, Caboolture; Living Faith Lutheran Primary School, Murrumba Downs; and Grace Lutheran Primary School, Clontarf to create a video highlighting just some of the extraordinary programs at the primary schools and here at Grace College.

Game On at Grace

Our Extension Music Programme GAME ON (which started in Year 7 this year) has been featured in the national magazine “Australian Teacher’s Magazine” reporting on a recent percussion workshop by our teacher Claire Carvolth with the headline:”Conversation in junk just one part of superb accelerated music program.” Read the article here http://www.educationhq.com.au/magazines/teacher/

Grace Master plan

At Grace College, we are pleased to introduce to you the new Master Plans for both our Rothwell and Caboolture campuses and our building programme for 2014/15.

Sharing Community, Thriving on Grace

You may not be aware that the Caboolture region is famous for being one of the largest suppliers of strawberries in Australia. Caboolture is also known for our Caboolture Campus.

The Caboolture Campus is a sharing, close-knit community with students that are thriving on the cultivation of Grace’s care and attention.

This video is about the Stewart family, one of Grace’s many warm and loving families, who work hard on their family farm to produce beautiful and tasty strawberries.

With thanks to Merv Schiffke (Ky’s grandfather and Taste ‘n See owner), and Sam, Ky and Tahlia Stewart (Grace Lutheran College and St Pauls Lutheran Primary School family) for your involvement and filming at the farm.

How to Choose the Right Secondary School for  Your Child

There are a number of factors to consider when choosing the right school for your child.  Grace College has produced a free guide for parents with helpful tips and information.

Have a look at the report written by our very own Principal, Mrs Butler, here http://choosingasecondaryschool.com.au/

The guide provides not only a great starting point for parents entering into the world of secondary education options but gives current Grace College parents the assurance that they have made the right decision for their child’s education.

We think Grace College ticks all the boxes when you are looking for quality secondary education.
