Jason Miles - Head of Campus Caboolture

I began my teaching journey in 2004 at Grace Lutheran College, teaching Biology, Junior Science, and Physical Education. In my 4 years at the Rothwell Campus, I transitioned into teaching mostly Physical Education and served as Deputy Head of the PE Department. I then took on the challenge of moving to the Caboolture Campus as one of the foundational staff members when we opened in 2008. I have many fond memories of helping develop the Caboolture Campus, transforming it from a literal mud pit into a quality learning environment. It’s been a privilege to support and guide students on their educational journey ever since.

Schools are not just about buildings and programs (although they are very important), they are also about people and relationships. As the Head of Caboolture Campus, I am passionate about creating a quality team environment, where everyone is an important and valued member of our Grace Caboolture team. I highly value our College mission and vision statement, and I believe every student is a unique creation of God. All our students have been designed for a purpose, and as a College, we get to help guide them to find their unique skills and gifts. My personal leadership style is very relational and involves effective collaboration and quality communication with all members of our school community.

Over my time at Grace, I have been blessed to gain experience in several different positions including Sport Coordinator, Middle School Pastoral Care Coordinator, Deputy Head of Campus and currently the Head of Campus – Caboolture. It was in Pastoral Care where I found a passion for supporting young people and partnering with families through different situations. As Head of Campus - Caboolture, I provide leadership and guide our team in all operations of the campus, including day-to-day management, supporting staff, students, and ensuring there is an optimal learning environment for our community.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, two kids, and extended family. I also love playing the guitar and staying active through running, kayaking, skateboarding, and beach trips.
