The Library aims to offer access to information and ideas as an integral part of the educational program of the College, serving as an extension of the classrooms, and assisting in the development of independent and life-long learners. To support this aim the Library provides a wide range of resources that support both the comprehensive curriculum and diverse recreational needs of the students, the staff and the wider College community.
While the bulk of the library’s resource collection is in print format, we also hold a wide range of audiovisual, electronic and tactile resources.
Through the Library, students also have access to a number of electronic databases. The provision of these alternative information resources allows access to a vast and diverse range of information both within and beyond the school. We encourage students, staff and parents to make suggestions for inclusion in the Library collection.
The Rothwell Library is open during term time Monday to Thursday from 7.30am to 6.00pm and during these times a Research Facilitator and University Student Tutors are available to assist students with Assignments, Research and Homework. On Friday, the Rothwell Library is open from 7.30am to 3.30pm.
