INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Information Technology at Grace Lutheran College encompasses two main teaching areas. In the Junior School we offer Information Communication Education and Information Processing and Technology for Years 11 and 12. Statement on ICT Across the Curriculum
As well as the usual teaching responsibilities of all academic departments; the Department of Information Technology also offers staff and students a range of other services:
- Upkeep and maintenance of 300 student computers across 10 computer laboratories
- Allocation of ICT recourses across all curriculum areas on campus
- Portable data projector and laptop loan service for students and staff
- Internet service to all College students monitored on-site
- Maintenance of student log-in accounts and file storage
- Overseeing the ICT needs of both teaching and support staff on campus
- Managing the College intranet portal and TASS database
- Maintaining the College website
- Strategic planning for future ICT needs
The College has recently undergone considerable upgrade of the ICT services that it provides to students and staff.
