VISUAL ART
Visual Art is a vital component of the curriculum at Grace Lutheran College. The College provides the opportunity to study Visual Arts from Years 8 with the option to continuing throughout the Middle School, and again to Year 12. This course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to understand visual art, visual images, and become proficient in visual literacy and Media/Film,Television and New Media.
As a Visual Art and Media Department, we feel it is vital for our students to experience firsthand Visual Art and Media in range of different settings. We provide students with the opportunity to encounter a variety of works, from the traditional to the modern, from popular culture to art-house.
