ROTHWELL BRIGHT MINDS FESTIVAL

SUNDAY 19 MAY 2019

9:00am - 1:00pm

Grades: 1 - 6

Venue: Grace Lutheran College , Rothwell Campus

Students will participate in two 1.5hr workshops during the festival: one in Session 1 and one in Session 2. The sessions will be separated by a morning tea break. Students are to bring along their own morning tea and drink in a small backpack. Attendance for a single workshop is not permitted for supervision reasons.

In each Session, fantastic workshops are available to suit different ages:

Junior Workshops: Years 1-3 students
Senior Workshops: Years 4-6 students

Please book each child's workshops using the booking button below.

IMPORTANT!

Each child must be booked paid for and registered SEPARATELY (in a complete separate transaction) so that we have all the medical information allocated to the correct child. The booking site will only let you purchase enough tickets for one child at a time for this reason.

Please also ensure you book a Session 1 and a Session 2 workshop for EITHER the Junior Workshops OR the Senior Workshops list. Please do not select two workshops that occur during the same session. The sessions are colour coded to help you!

You do not need to print your tickets. We will provide personalised name tags that indicate which workshops your child is booked in for. (For parents who do wish to print their tickets, the start time will state 9am on both your  Session 1 and Session 2 tickets as all attendees must arrive at this time)

On the day:

Student registrations will open at 8:45am at the College Chapel. Parents/guardians are required to sign their child in at this time.

During the Morning Tea Break, attendees will eat their food in the school hall where they will watch an interactive and engaging show by SEQ Water on the Importance of Water Conservation.

Parents/guardians are asked to return to the College Chapel at 1:00pm to collect their child. Students must be signed-out by their parent/guardian at that time. Additional information will be sent to all ticket holders prior to the event.

WORKSHOPS:

The workshops have been divided into activities for students in Years 1 to 3 (Junior Workshops) and students in Years 4 to 6 (Senior Workshops). Students choose two workshops from the list - one workshop for each session. Please follow the links at the bottom of the page for workshop descriptions and costings.

Families are invited to stay on after the festival and enjoy the food and festivities of the Grace Lutheran College Open Day 2019. School tours, department displays, food trucks, interactive activities and information sessions will be held on campus from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Come and experience The Grace Way! - Grit, Growth and Grace.

Refunds are not able to be offered.
